They have two sekitori who need a room apiece, but I assume all Oyakata design their heya with sekitori rooms in mind. They've dropped Honma recently, leaving 14 active rikishi in the heya, so they have room for a couple more. I don't think Naruto's college connections are as active, perhaps due to the presence of other high-status Oyakata (?), so the last few recruits seem to be show-up-at-the-door. dingo 1,388 Posted June 10 I'm a bit late to comment but sekitori space would be a weird excuse to stop recruiting. In addition to having heya designed to accommodate that, sekitori are usually also allowed to rent their own apartment, especially if they have family. Of course some oyakata may want to keep their sekitori closer and out of trouble, but nevertheless it would be strange to stop recruiting over that. Maybe there's another reason. IIRC Oshoma has married, so he's probably in an apartment. At some point I saw an exploded diagram of the building, and I think there were at least three sekitori rooms.
