Shiroishi Masahito is proving to be a reliable anchor, as he wins yet another deciding bout (he's been doing that ever since middle school). Kindai University have done very well though, considering that they have a couple of young guys on their team, notably last year's High School Yokozuna Yamaguchi Reo. If Kindai's members continue to develop, their yusho will surely not be far away. Speaking of, Toyo University weren't able to get the individual title this time around, as Kindai University's Watanabe Ryo came home with the win.
