Asashosakari 20,273 Posted October 8, 2013 I think the last time I saw a picture of Mutsuhokkai was when he retired to the sewanin position nearly 10 years ago - he sure hasn't lost much weight after his active days, has he.
Yubinhaad 11,974 Posted October 11, 2013 This tournament was the end of this particular cycle of sumo at the Kokugikan, so the tamari-seki and masu-seki seating areas have been dismantled, the dohyo has been lowered beneath the floor and the tsuriyane has been raised up to the ceiling. Meanwhile in the shitaku-beya, yobidashi Takahiro was brushing up on his taiko drumming. And yobidashi Shin (right) was showing rookie Hiromasa the ropes.
