Kaikitsune Makoto 210 Posted January 5, 2004 Unbelievable crap. 3 million for that? I saw a rikishi doing few yorikiri and trying to figure out how to punch a human being. And I saw a Sappu-bappu whose punches were not exactly elequant either. One thing was nice to see though. Akebono had no problems with receiving kicks from him. Akebono had NO skills. World is strange. Show business. Then again Matti Nyk
Naifuzan 1 Posted January 5, 2004 Yep. That's the way things work. You dont have to be good. You just have to be famous. I mean, putting up a guy who has trained k1/boxing/kick boxing for 2 months in such an event. ;-)

Tumppi 0 Posted January 5, 2004 I just downloaded a 14mb version from Kazaa but I will download this one too. Akebono was obviously the bigger man here, usually Sapp just throws his opponents into a corner and hits them but this time it was Sapp who was in the ropes. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted January 5, 2004 I thought Matti Caspi died? I must have read something wrong or I'm making a wrong connection... Oh well, it's far off-topic anyways.

No, he's alive and well.. He just lived in America for a few years and came back. To myself: ;-) Edited January 5, 2004 by Kintamayama
QttP 0 Posted January 5, 2004 Unbelievable crap. 3 million for that? Had to agree. We had more lively fights in the school cafeteria. Sapp is as good a boxer as I am a metal detector. But at least he's got agility and endurance, whereas Akebono has nothing for those types of fights, as was predicted from the first moment he announced his K-1 intentions. Akebono had Sapp at the ropes twice or thrice at the beginning, and following sumo logic must have thought: "I've won three times already, why is the fight still going on?" He was so puzzled with that thought that he forgot to breathe and, well you know the rest.
