Zentoryu 154 Posted January 25, 2008 The current standings should be considered unofficial until further notice. It appears that the players who have Toyozakura on their squads are not getting credit for his win over Wakakoyu on Day 12. The win was worth 5 points, which might not sound like much, but 5 points can be the difference between KK or MK. I've e-mailed Kofuji about this, but he has yet to reply, which may mean he isn't back from his trip yet. So there's no telling when the problem will get fixed. When it does, I will let everyone know.
Jakusotsu 6,359 Posted January 25, 2008 That's not the only issue with Wakakoyu and the sumogames server. Sekitoto's stats section lists him as absent for days 1 through 7, with a record of 2-4 on day 13. Made me wonder for some time now...
Fukurou 534 Posted January 26, 2008 That's not the only issue with Wakakoyu and the sumogames server. Sekitoto's stats section lists him as absent for days 1 through 7, with a record of 2-4 on day 13. Made me wonder for some time now... While making my Sekitoto picks today I noticed something odd about Wakakoyu - there's no banzuke rank beside his name. Even the visitors from Makushita have their rank by their names on the entry page. I don't know much about how these games are programmed, but if ST and Roto share a results database, and if Wakakoyu has no rank assigned to him in this database, then how would the Roto program know how many points to assign for a win vs him? (Sign of approval...)
Zentoryu 154 Posted January 26, 2008 Indeed. The problem seems more invasive than just one bout. Which means the final results (once the Wakakoyu problem is finally fixed) could vary far more than I expected them to.

FWIW, when I checked yesterday Wakakoyu's earlier losses seemed to be scored correctly in Rotosumo even though the Toto automation was saying that he wasn't even in juryo. At any rate, both the Toto and the Roto bug have apparently been fixed now...
