Where Is the French Trophy?

Tamanoi Beya on the Road

I have a question regarding your news named "Where is the French Trophy ?" written by Mark Buckton.

Sumo Fan Magazine has learnt that as of 1200 JST, July 25th, no plans have yet been announced by the French Embassy, Tokyo, pertaining to the return of any

French government sponsored trophy or prize for presentation to honbasho makunouchi division winners - regardless of online suggestions to the contrary by one former embassy staffer.

I was quite surprised while reading this, but I only hope you are not talking about me, because I never said that in the SML (not exactely online) !! This needed to be answered because I am angry ! (Laughing...)

Nicolas Sarkozy - political opponent to former President and renowned sumo fan Jacques Chirac.

For your information, Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy were respectively number 1 and 2 in the same political party, again not exactely political opponents !!

I am not an expert in on-line journalism, but information should at least be checked before being uploaded !

Cheers,

Edited by Chienoshima

They were opponents even if they were in the same party & the same government . Sarkozy always spoke about rupture with the Chirac system.
