  1. it apeared on the webstream that his hair was tied in a very strange way, almost as if it wasn't tied at all. of course, it's very difficult to see anything in detail on the webstream, so i was wondering if anyone could shed light on this.

    Lurkers-

im probably one of those "guests" (or someone like me) i come on to read the forum, but don't often have anything myself to say, so i never sign in, and am shown as a guest....
  4. Fukunoyama (ms14 12-3) ms1 a huge leap ! (Applauding...) hurray! i will begin studying now, so that i will be able to enter the salaried ranks for the first time in any "real game" after Nagoya.
  5. thank you for the pics, taka looks great with the new style (Applauding...)

    Napoleon

thank you everyone the trial was today and the result was napoleon being exiled for life,,,which i think was a pretty good result, considering the judges were all from countries that had been warring with napoleon, i thought i was going to get the death penalty. o well, off to live in greenland.....

    Napoleon

thank you what's so good about the napoleonic code? it's the groundwork for what is used in most of europe now right? but what kind of rights and things does it give? would it have likely come around anyway if he hadn't suggested it?

    Napoleon

stuff about his military campaigns would be fine. I just need anything good about him, i need to prove that he was a hero of history rather than a ruthless dictator

    Napoleon

i was chosen to represent Napoleon Bonaparte in a mock trial at school tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone out there has some good information for me. Since this forum is heavily trafficked by Europeans, i felt that there may be some people with some good information. Thank you for anything that anyone can provide.
  14. done and done, now, does anyone have any info about possible entries for benchsumo or isp? thanks
  15. YAAAAAY (Getting involved in a boxing match...) hopefully i can keep this up, i doubt it, since im doing horrible in everything except roto, bench and isp been a disappointing basho so far....
  16. i was wondering if anyone knows of good sumo books. I have read everything there is on the internet and the one book that my library has...i am looking for one that is new (the one at the library was wrtten in the late 80s and kept talking about chiyonofuji and onokuni, who i cant relate to) . i would also like it to include a lot of historical information as well as information about techniques and current rikishi. pictures would be nice too... thanks
  17. it was kind of a stupid thing for a commentator to say, but it was what i was thinking as i was watching it
  18. aminishiki--WOW!! i don't know the proper terms for what he did, but it was extremely impressive
  19. i have no computer skill at all, so i have no idea how to set something like this up, but what about a guess-the-kimarite game. it would be boring to have to guess the kimarite for each match, but what if you had to guess how many of each there would be in a day or something?
  20. yes, i am on windows thank you, i am watching it right now! i wonder why don't advertise this stream on the website? only for makuuchi....
  21. i heard that there is a web stream from the kyokai homepage that includes juryo as well as some makushita in addition to the makuuchi matches. can anyone tell me the link for this stream? i just need to watch kobo....
  22. just heard that musashimaru will be kyujo for sure. also, asasho hurt his right shoulder and hasn't practiced for a few days. he says he will be in the basho, but doesn't know how much the injury will bother him. kaio&chiyotaikai are in. all for now
  23. from what i understand, it's a fairly well understood thing among sumo circles about who is about to leave, and who would like to become oyakata. there is of course always marriage as an option for former sumotori looking to control a heya
  24. are these kind of statistcs available anywhere on the net for other rikishi, so we can compare asasho to the other recent yokozuna, aka takanohana?
  25. betting on sports is not illegal in japan i am not sure of exactly what the laws are, but there is a large sports lottery called Toto which I believe began in 2001. Toto allows betting on soccer for sure, and i believe for numerous other sports. i am looking for the homepage and will post it here if i find it, heheh, you might want to look at this japanese toilet company's website by the same name as toto
