No fair chances, i mus say. To win 100 for sure (and assume, that none of the others can win) i still have to pay 133. Fair dealers offer for 107. Looking at the odds right now, it looks like Tochiazuma still has only a small chance. In this day ISP Tochiazuma-Kotomitsuki match 2 third voted against Tochiazuma.

Knowing, that he will definitely win much more than the minimum number and talking of intai otherwise is not very Yokuzuna-like. I personally do not like sandbaggers and even though they are quite common today, Tochiazuma should not have said so (if this is really the case)

Maybe it depends on the actual status of the Yokuzuna himself. When Akebono was near the end of his career he had to show, that he can still 10 wins. This was expected from him and a failure would lead to an intai. Today everybody knows, that Asashoryu can win six basho a year and struggling with the kk/mk line is not acceptable for himself. So a kyujo is quite acceptable. Coming back to Tochiazuma (where i have given up the hope of a promotion) he and everyone else who can become Yokuzuna should hope, that Asashoryu stays in the basho. A yusho with Asashoryu competing is much more worth than one, where he is simply the best Ozeki.

Once in a while i wonder, how the match picking of isp works. I mean, even if guessbusters does a 100% perfect job, the results from all players will be 50%. And if they making a pick, in which one side has a small advantage, the results of the players increase above 50%. Experience shows, that the results are very near to the expected 7.5 points, so the picks must be really good. Nonetheless, i wonder how good they are and what the distribution is ? Has anyone made an analysis about this already ? Otherwise i would do it myself and would be grateful if someone could give me the relevant data. Although i am so interested in the topic myself, that i will go through the history myself and extract the data from the bashos.

I am just trying to calculate my Hoshitori entry with the help of HakkeYoi and i realize, that the last four days of Aki are missing. Will this be fixed (before the deadline) or it is a misinterpretion by me or can i do something about that ?

Though i have never read them in detail myself, i was sure to know the rules approximately. But i had never heard of the okuri-ashi and do not understand it. Here my interpretation: If you go back, while holding your opponent in the air and step out of the dohyou, you lose. If you hold your opponent in the air and out of the dohyou, you do not get a win, unless you drop him later. If you go forward, while holding your opponent in the air and step out of the dohyou AND drop him outside the dohyou on the ground you win ?
