  1. In the spirit of the 3 Musketeers I'll join in: Day 10: Hakuho
  2. Day 9: Baruto
  3. Day 8: Toyonoshima
  4. Day 7: Kotoshogiku
  5. Day 5: Baruto
  6. Day 4: Asasekiryu
  7. Another Sadogatake OP but I think it'l be the Komosubi. Day 3: Kotoshogiku
  8. 1. A 2. B 3. A 4. B 5. A 6. A 7. A 8. A 9. B 10. X 11. A 12. B 13. B 14. B 15. A 16. B 17. A 18. A 19. B 20. A 21. B
  9. Day 1: Tochinoshin Day 2: Kakuryu
  10. Personall, I never fail to read your entertaining invitations. I admit the first couple of times when I got them in my mail box via the SML I just deleted them thinking they were just boilerplate, but then about the third time I notice and odd eye-catching word or two and stopped to read the thing before hitting the delete button. I've been hooked ever since. I would be most dismayed should it ever just become a boilerplate invitation. Keep up the good word..er work!
  11. Well since the 10-3 Tochiozan isn't considered too unbalanced an opponent for a 7-6 Kise why should the Fatman be? I concur then Day 15: Miyabiyama
  12. The fatman at 10 wins has made himself too good to put up against the struggling Kise. If, as I suspect he will, Kise defeats Homey on Day 13 then with his 7 wins the more likely aite would be: Day 14: Tochinoshin
  13. I believe I will go with the mini (so far at least) bandwagon and say: Day 13: Tamawashi
  14. [bandwagon] Day 12: Kotoshogiku [/bandwagon]
  15. If they're going to match records as closely as possible it should be Tamawashi, if they're just following the banzuke ladder it should be Aran, IMHO Kotoshogiku would be the best match-up; decisions, decisions, decisions! Day 11: Aran
  16. Oh yeah, see what I mean about distracted, I almost forgot to include my day 10 pick. I'll join the Oshima Opponent bandwagon with: Day 10: Kyokutenho
  17. I personally compete in 9 daily games on Shonichi after that usually it drops to 8 after I lose in Chain Gang. I have a paper worksheet I use to help keep track of who I picked in what but I occasionally forget about who is in what heya as it makes little difference except in this particular game. My point being that with the exception of I'm sure a few people who are either independently wealthy or have given up all other social interaction than Sumo Games one can get distracted with the hustle and bustle of daily life accompanied by the every-other month hustle and bustle of virtual sumo games. Were I to make an error such as that I would appreciate a heads-up either privately or in the game thread. Sure this is a competition but I mean cripes it's certainly not for life or death so why not give a guy or gal a heads-up if they've come a cropper with the dreaded Wakanosato flub. Hell it's pretty damn rare when they are close enough together on the banzuke for this to happen. And you can't necessarily tell by their shikona, unless they happen to belong to one of those few heya that seem to have "exclusive" rights to a particular portion of a shikona such as Sadogatake and the "Koto"s or Oshima and the "Kyoku"s. As you can see here in this basho there are 12 rikishi ranging from mae-zumo to Komosubi whose shikona ends in "Sato" and only 3 of them are in Naruto beya. Geez, talk about making a mountain out of a mole-hill if this little competition was going to make or break getting to Yokozuna in the SuperBanzuke I could better understand all the fuss.
  18. For once no one thought KAIO would be kyujo. I doubt anyone expected Goeido would be injured though it is of course always possible. Actually while he is not the most Ozeki like of the Ozekis he hasn't been kyujo since Kyushu of '08. He was present and accounted for througout all of '09 going 8-7, conveniently every time!
  19. Let's get the Sadogatake boys out of the way! Day 9: Kotoshogiku
  20. On the bandwagon I guess, Day 8: Kaio
  21. I've been pushing for Kotooshu for so long but I think it will be: Day 7: Kaio
  22. Not that I was going out on any kind of limb but I did say, yesterday, that days 5-7 would be the Yokozuna and remaining ozekis, I just didn't think it would be in that order! Day 6: Kotooshu
  23. Week 1 should see the Komosubis facing all the upper ranks, the next 3 days should be the remaining ozekis and the Yokozuna. Day 5: Kotooshu
  24. I agree with the sentiment but I'll take: Day 4: Kaio
