  1. Day 12-15 the Yokozuna has to fight the 4 Ozekis so that only leaves him Day 10 or 11 for the 2 Sekiwake's and since Kotoshogiku has got the 7-1 record I think they will give him the first shot on Day 10 therefore I will beat this dead horse one more time and go with Day 10: Baruto
  2. I'll join the Estonian bandwagon: Day 9: Baruto
  3. I agree with his numbers at this point it definitely should be an Ozeki. Day 8: Baruto
  4. Day 7: Baruto
  5. I keep track of my scores on a daily basis and I can tell you that, for me at least, all of those days are bogus. It shows 51, 132, 69 & 69 for the 1st 4 days when in reality I scored 75, 57, 96 & 78 for those 4 days. Gusoyama's normal pattern would not have these scores updated until after Day 5 or 6 so I'm wondering if he has a hacker on his hands.
  6. I'll go along with the flow: Day 6: Toyonoshima
  7. Day 5: Toyonoshima
  8. I think I will stick with Day 4: Tamawashi
  9. Day 3: Tamawashi
  10. Day 1: Yoshikaze Day 2: Aran
  11. 1. A 2. B 3. B 4. A 5. A 6. A 7. A 8. A 9. B 10. A 11. A 12. B 13. B 14. B 15. B 16. A 17. B 18. B 19. A 20. B 21. A
  12. It's just totally ironic that the most exciting basho in, I can't remember how long, is being played out to a half-full stadium with only one or two sold out days so far! Whenever Kaio retires, they should drop the Kyushu basho entirely and give Osaka two or add a 4th for Tokyo as Fukuoka just can't be a money maker for the Kyokai, but that's fodder for another thread. It just doesn't make sense not to give a potential Yusho winner a shot against the expected Yusho winner so I will go with: Day 15: Goeido
  13. Very tough choices for Day 14 & 15 for sure. I agree that with Toyo in the Yusho hunt in a big way after beating Bart, another Ozeki or Sanyaku would be the choice for him. I believe it will be either Yoshikaze, Tokusegawa or Tamawashi, but which one? Ideally it should be Tamawashi but Yoshi is a great choice too. After flipping a coin it came out Day 14: Tamawashi
  14. Day 13: Aminishiki
  15. I too believe it will be one of the (to quote Hiro Morito) "wily bedouins" Aminishiki or Kotoshogiku, but which one? I think Day 12: Aminishiki
  16. Climbing aboard the Komosubi bandwagon: Day 11: Tochinoshin
  17. Day 10: Aminishiki
  18. I think the torikumi makers want to build up his confidence a bit hence the Asasekiryu pick for Day 8 and he also has a very good reocrd against Amischneaky so I will guess Day 9: Aminishiki
  19. Day 8: Aran
  20. The odds are Takanohana has an english speaking aide reading this forum to try our patience but what the heck I'll go along for the ride once more: Day 7: Kakuryu
  21. Unbelievably predictable this time around, how long willl it continue? Day 6: Kakuryu
  22. Hopefully there is room for one more on the wagon: Day 5: Kotooshu
  23. There appear to be several mini-bandwagons for Day 4, but I will repeat my Day 3 choice and hitch my star to the: Day 3: Kaio, bandwagon.
  24. Being one of the myriad of co-leaders after Day 1 & 2, I will make an early Day 3 pick: Day 3: Kaio
  25. I'm late, I'm late, I hope I'm not too late! 1. A 2. A 3. B 4. X 5. A 6. B 7. A 8. A 9. B 10. A 11. X 12. A 13. B 14. B 15. A 16. A 17. A 18. B 19. B 20. B 21. B
