  1. Day 11: Kakuryu
  2. Day 10: Kotoshogiku
  3. I'm abandoning Sadogatake for now.... Day 9: Kakuryu
  4. The game is afoot and NSK has posted the Day 7 Torikumi and the winner is: Kotomitsuki so..... Day 8: Kotooshu
  5. I am inclined to jump on the Koto bandwagon but it really should be time for the Sekiwake battle so: Day 7: Kakuryu
  6. Believe it or Not, as Ripley would say, the NSK already has posted the Day 6 Torikumi and Kise gets Harumafuji!
  7. If the past is a guideline (and we all know how much we can rely on that) it should be: Day 6: Kakuryu
  8. Like most folks so far, I think it will be an Ozeki on Day 5 but I don't think either of the Kotos I say: Day 5: Harumafuji
  9. I've promised myself not to try and overthink these picks and just go with the gut feelings this time. I can't do any worse than I have by overthinking that's for sure! Anyway.... Day 4: Kotooshu
  10. When will I remember that Thursday in California is Friday in Japan? Oh well, once again I will start with a 2 day deficit! Day 3 Chiyotaikai
  11. I loved it, but is this any way for a potential Riji-kai candidate to be acting?
  12. Interesting stuff indeed but probably you should have included the header information from the Mailing List Archive It would appear to be perhaps someone's attempt at "April Fools Day" humor. I remembered seeing this article in the archive before and then realizing what the date on the post was.
  13. I'm using IE8 but I didn't see any place to put comments. Are you talking about on the daily entry form?
  14. Me too, I would truly have liked to see him achieve KK and Juryo promotion to get him out of being Kisenosato's tsukebito. As a rikishi, I like Kisenosato and hope that he will utltimately become the Ozeki we all believe he can be. But from his apparent attitude in and around the dohyo, I have to believe he is total b**ch to have as a "boss".
  15. Always one to stray far from the madding crowd, I must disagree. I agree that it should be Baruto however comma I really believe the T-makers are stacking the deck in favor of a Kisenosato KK and there is too much chance of a Baruto victory in such a matchup. So I say: Day 15: Goeido
  16. My though is the Torikumi makers are giving the GNH (Great Nipponese Hope) every opportunity to KK and save his rank. I'm sure that if he hadn't dropped out the Kid would have gotten Chiyotaikai by now. So with like a 7-4 lifetime history including 7 out of the last 8 they probably figure it's a dead cert for a shiroboshi for Kise. With that choice in mind I believe..... Day 14: Goeido
  17. Day 13: Miyabiyama
  18. Day 12: Baruto
  19. Day 10 is indeed Asashoryu, so I will try: Day 11: Baruto
  20. Since Day 9 is Hakuho as many have predicted, I will guess: Day 10: Asashoryu
  21. Well since Day 8 WASN"T Hakuho I'll roll him over: Day 9 Hakuho
  22. Since Day 7 turned out to be Harumafuji, I would like Day 8: Hakuho
  23. I don't mind when I miss the deadline and totally forget to pick someone, but I had the right pick for day 6 but never got around to posting it! DAMN! Day 7: Chiyotaikai
  24. Why not Baruto indeed! I agree with ILT. Day 5: Baruto
  25. Day 4: Kakuryu
