At first I thought, "why is he asking something that should be easy to find on the Eurosport site?" But then I went to www.eurosport.com and tried to find a way to search the future schedule for sumo. I couldn't find such a way. You can look day by day, but that's not convenient. >:-(

Try writing a worried mail to Eurosport - maybe they'll send their sumo schedule with the answer. ;-)

Edit: Yes, finding Eurosport's longterm schedule on web is practicaly impossible. (Sign of disapproval)

The reruns are scheduled for May 6th to May 10th, but knowing EUrosport that will probably be changed again....

Good URL! Thanks Tumppi-zeki (Applauding...)

I hope that page gets updated often... I wouldn't want to leave work early only to find out there's no sumo after all (Blowing up furiously...)

Is it just me or does the eurosport guys seem really confused?

The schedule seems to be a day off. Even today, before they broadcasted days 4-6, it said "next programme: sumo, haru basho days 7-9". And that was just minutes before the broadcast started. And when it started it was days 4-6.

I just dont get it (Just do not get it...)

Another strange thing... In todays broadcast, in the middle of kyokushuzan vs takanotsuru the commentary started switching between swedish and english every 5 seconds or so, for about a minute (I'm watching from sweden).

Those crazy guys! ;-)

Dude, I've got the exact same things going on!!

I'm watching from Finland (ishockey :-S ) with Swedish commentary and I got freaked out as hell when the commentary started switching between English and Swedish!! I'm glad that it didn't last for long though and continued Swedish (Chris L

where the hatred of Swedes is chronic

I would say hatred is too strong a word.

Yeah.. I agree. Couldn't come up with such a word though. Actually we should hate the Russians more considering what they have done (Laughing...)

It's something like the usa - canada thing...

P.S. What's up with sumopaini.net?

I'm not sure whom we should hate, if anyone.

Anyway, I felt that according to the site statistics there was not much audience for a Finnish sumo domain. Therefore I abandoned the project.

What USA - Canada thing??? ;-)

I wouldn't say Americans and Canadians hate each other either...

A number of Canadians and Americans dislike each other for various reasons, but that's about the extent of it...

Yep, if you read my above post again I said I agree it's not hatred and I just couldn't come up with a suitable word.

Like... don't tell me that just now you start to feel the excitement of Taikai's victory. ;-)

Or is it a recurring joy? :-D

Crap. I should have watched days 13-15 last night. I wanted to hear what the russian fellas would say...

Two most memorable bouts of that basho are definitely Kaio-Asashoryu and Chiyotaikai-Asashoryu. Not because Asashoryu lost, but because of the way he lost. Chiyotaikai seemed to have said: "I will do my sumo and you can just stand and watch, because you won't be able to do anything anyway." But the best was Kaio - it was like "What are you doing here, little kid? Get the hell outta here!"
