Odoriou 0 Posted September 7, 2005 Piece of cake. (Why does the Yokozuna look like Terao?) There are even two Yokozunas. But one of them is just a disgrace for that honorable rank. (Lifting weights...) BTW: Are there other sumo PC games like that (of course with more opponents and more kimarite)? :-) Maybe even downloadable ones? Manekineko 200 Posted September 7, 2005 Piece of cake. (Why does the Yokozuna look like Terao?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know how to defend against his uwate (or whatever). Is moving forward and pushing all I can do? (Lifting weights...)

Manekineko 200 Posted September 7, 2005 Oh, and I wasted my time trying out some other move besides tsuppari/harite... Tsk, a yokozuna showing such emotion when defeated, the shame! (Lifting weights...) Thanks! (Heart)
Ryukaze 0 Posted September 8, 2005 O.k. o.k. maybe not the most difficult game in the world but fun nonetheless eh? Theres a secret to beating the Yokozuna however, (for some reason this game sort of reminds me of Mike Tyson's punch out). When his eyes are closed is the time to move in an attack otherwise stay back, you can even fend him off with your tsuppari but if he gets a grip on your mawashii its all over. Odoriou 0 Posted September 8, 2005 It's not exactly like that, but I always enjoy a game of Seigatakaigai's Virtual Sumo now and then. Really not 'exactly' the same (Nodding yes...) , but still a nice game. (Nodding yes...) I just finished my 4th Virtual Sumo basho. My records were 0-15, 0-15, 1-14, 2-13 - so I guess I'm already improving a little bit. (Nodding yes...)

(Nodding yes...)<{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...and steadily improve You will. I don't want to spoil it all for You, but it's hard to miss a chance for bragging: I recently won my 150th zensho yusho with my lone yokozuna Hakuho. He's well into his 50s now, and the only reason I still keep playing is that I want to see if old age will finally catch up on him. (Nodding yes...)
Naifuzan 1 Posted September 8, 2005 All I did was mash on the right arrow and space bar, and won every bout all the time... Not such a hard game (Nodding yes...)
Manekineko 200 Posted September 9, 2005 Ah, Virtual sumo... the edition I played so long ago had Kotonowaka (Heart) reach yokozuna before my rikishi... That was a good alternate reality to be in... (Dohyo-iri...)
Zeokage 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Virtual Sumo, great game to play. I got to a point where I was getting zensho over and over. I started to feel sorry for the Ozeki who probably would easily be Yokozuna if I wasn't there. Especially the Ozeki who I faced twice in the same basho each time.
