Yubiquitoyama 4 Posted October 18, 2002 Well, the basho has started to run on Eurosport and it was quite fun to watch the first six days yesterday. Waiting for the next six for today (Eh?) But for those who missed this first transmission, there is, as usual, a rerun as well, which is scheduled as follows: Days 1-6: Sunday 27/10 19.00-21.00 CET Days 7-12: Tuesday/Wednesday 29/10 23.15-01.15 CET Days 13-15: Thursday 31/10 00.15-01.15 CET Don't miss :-Q
Hoshifransu 0 Posted October 18, 2002 I don't know which version you're watching, but yesterday, I was afraid the tennis match involving the beautiful Dokic could delete a part of the Sumo coverage ... like they did two years ago (with a game involving Davenport) So, I was supporting any player to win the fastest as possible ... to watch the basho ... but they finished with a tie-break ! But hopefully, we had the full basho at about 9.50 pm at last !

Hoshifransu 0 Posted October 18, 2002 I was a bit worried they were going to skip day one, since I know they have done such things before (I don't remember when now, but a year or two ago they skipped days 1-2 for some tennis match, possibly the one you mention). But fortunately they didn't I would say Kyushu 2000, unfortunately ...
Tumppi 0 Posted October 19, 2002 Well it was definately a most entertaining sumo tournament! So exciting! I kinda hoped for Takanohana to win though but Musashimaru is also one of my favourites!
