    Banzuke for Aki 2020

Interesting that all three M17 yusho were promoted to a different rank.

    Rikishi talk - Banzuke release

Good to know that even Terunofuji was likely expecting M2 after Tokushoryu's example earlier this year.

    Welcome aboard Ollie.

    Favorite Yokozuna? Past And Present

I only learned that Sumo exists because of Akebono. So, I have to stick with the Hawaiian giant.

Do you eat eggs for breakfast?

That's a lot of eggs! What cuisine is the cookbook based on?

    Corona and sumo

Hah.....autocorrect strikes again! Lesson learned. Proof read before posting. That should have been vaccine not virus. Since you already caught me and quoted me, it’s too late to edit it now.

    Corona and sumo

It seems like limited, or no, spectators will be standard around the world until there is a virus. At least we still get to watch the sports we love.

    Videos Nagoya Basho... 2003

Thanks for sharing these videos. I wasn’t a sumo fan then, so this is all brand new for me. I’m surprised the videos are from Eurosport. Is Sumo still available on Eurosport?

    Are Abi's days numbered?

I'm with you on that opinion. Forcing him to live in the heya, separate from his wife, is pretty harsh.

    Are Abi's days numbered?

I thought he would be out. Hopefully, he won't need anymore "second chances" after this.

    Shikihide beya troubles

I imagine that there will be a pretty strange atmosphere there for awhile with all the guys who returned.

Chanko Nabe step by step recipe.

I’d love to read a review from anyone who has used one of the many available recipes to make their own Chanko at home.

Truly, when will the next basho occur?

I agree with this assessment. Sports are back all over the world. It may be spectator-less again, but sports are back. There is too much money to be lost otherwise.

Top 10 Sumo Records July 2020

This is really cool to me as a fairly new fan. Before this year, the last M17 to win was in 1939. Now, we've already had two in the first half of the year! I wonder if we'll ever see an M17 winner beat a Yokozuna on the way to victory?

Do you eat eggs for breakfast?

My favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns. That’s only a weekend breakfast though. Weekday breakfast before work is usually some muesli with yogurt.

I was hoping to see a playoff, but congratulations to Terunofuji.

    Hello from Armenia

I'm an American living in Armenia. I've been lurking on the forum off and on for at least a year. Finally, I decided I needed to join and actually contribute. I don't have an American in Sumo to cheer for at the moment. However, Georgia is a neighboring country to where I currently live so Tochinoshin is my guy as long as he stays around.

    Hello from Armenia

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I was indeed very happy to see Tochinoshin get his kachi-koshi yesterday.
