Kintamayama 47,128 Posted April 23, 2003 (edited) Hi All! My site (foreigners, old-timers, Makushita in English, ex- Makuuchi,Audiobanzuke)is updated as of now to reflect the new Banzuke. Special note about the foreigners-they are creeping up the ranks like ants. 29 (out of 49) are at their highest ranks, and 12 are already in Makushita (out of 60 Makushita in all))..Sandanme is crawling with them too.(21!!) Is Sumo being quietly taken over by the foreigners? Thank you.. All foreigners in all divisions: http://www.dichne.com/tForeigners.htm Never visited oldest rikishi site: http://www.dichne.com/OldestRikishi.htm Makushita in English: http://www.dichne.com/maku.htm Ex-Makuuchi : http://www.dichne.com/exmaku.html Audiobanzuke: http://www.dichne.com/audiobanzuke.htm Edited April 23, 2003 by Kintamayama
Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted April 23, 2003 Thank you Kintamayama-zeki for the great site >:-( I have a question regarding the oldest rikishi page: 4. Hoshitango + 37 5. 9. 65 5.87 Jw 3 1.00 Mkw 34 3-4 Mke 42 0-0 What does the plus sign next to the shikona mean?
Kintamayama 47,128 Posted April 23, 2003 Actually, Hoshitango is the only one with a plus sign, meaning he's the only foreign old-timer..
Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted April 24, 2003 Actually, Hoshitango is the only one with a plus sign Perhaps this will change in the future, given the onslaught of foreigners >:-(
