After training bout against Wakanosato he said his operated elbow has been painful again affecting his sumo. He will have a thoroughal check-up after jungyo on 17th April but is pessimistic saying no operation can be done yet at least as Natsu basho is too close. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted April 14, 2003 It's one thing to get injured once, get surgery to repair injury, take some kyujo time off, and then come back healthy. It's another thing when the injury is recurring / nagging, as further surgery is not likely to resolve the problem 100%.
