It's not long until Eurosport sends the Kyushu basho for all european sumo fans out there. Here goes:

First broadcast:

18/12 00.15-01.15 Central European Time, Kyushu basho Days 1-3

19/12 00.15-01.15 CET, Days 4-6

20/12 00.15-01.15 CET, Days 7-9

21/12 00.15-01.15 CET, Days 10-12

22/12 00.15-01.15 CET, Days 13-15

Repeat:

25/12 00.00-01.00 CET, Days 1-3 (Observe: 25/12 00.00 = 24/12 24.00)

25/12 21.00-23.00 CET, Days 4-9

27/12 21.00-23.00 CET Days 10-15

Observe that all times are subject to change even close to the event, since Sumo is a relatively low priority broadcast on Eurosport.

No, I don't think so. Those were the original times reported for the rerun of the Kyushu basho. But you are right that it HAS changed yet again, since I reported first above. The new times of the re-run of Kyushu basho (according to Eurosport themselves):

25/12 21.00-22.00 CET, Days 1-3

27/12 21.00-23.00 CET, Days 4-9

28/12 21.00-23.00 CET Days 10-15

Apparently VERY much subject to change... Sigh... Why can't Eurosport understand that there are people actually trying to watch sumo...

Oh dear ... I know what you mean ... What a pity Eurosport did it ! Sumo coverage (and especially with Syd Hoare's exciting, outstanding comments) is their best broadcast so far ! I don't understand what's happening ... It was 2 basho before they sacrified a lot of bouts to end up a woman tennis game ... Although I'm happy to catch Sumo - though sometimes not complete - thanks to them and from the moment NHK disappeared from ASTRA ! Well I jus' hope we won't suffer too much in the future !!! :-)
