Ok, I guess this is slightly related to the previous poll. I want to know your opinions for where Kaio will be for next basho.

Will he have been demoted, failing to reach overcome his kadoban status this basho?

Will he survive kadoban and be back among the Ozeki ranks, although not that impressive?

Will he have stayed at Ozeki through a convincing performance this time and look like he is back to his best?

Will he have succumbed to his shoulder and rest it? I guess this could be at any rank, although I tend to think this option will be that he has survived as Ozeki but uses one kyujo basho to try to heal his shoulder for the future. That doesn't really seem his way, so perhaps more likely is that he will start, reinjure the shoulder and then go kyujo.

Will he have retired? This could be due to demotion to Sekiwake, or because his shoulder is too problematic for him to continue.

I know there might be other permutations but I've just whipped this up off the top of my head. I've gone for kyujo after escaping kadoban status. I hope not, just a nasty feeling I have. (Sad goodbyes...)

Well, so far he looks good. So no reason why he won't be Ozeki come Natsu. The shoulder doesn't seem to be troubling him.... yet... maybe the long rest has done him good?

I voted with the majority: He'll be safe at Ozeki and compete!

He deserves another chance. So far, so good! 3 impressive wins - 0 losses
