Atamifuji visits the World Fair- Kansai expo

Atamifuji "explored" the venue of the Osaka Kansai Expo on the first day of the Natsu Jungyo today . After asageiko, he took advantage of the time before his dohyo-iri participation to explore various pavilions with several members of the press. His eye was first drawn to the Singapore Pavilion, a distinctive bright red, spherical building near the tour venue. "Singapore, huh?" he mused. Curious, he approached, only to discover a long line. "That's going to be a challenge. I'll stop by if I have time on my way back." He initially skipped over it and headed to the Commons D Pavilion, also near the tour venue. He seemed fascinated by the booths, primarily of the African and Asian countries, picking up small accessories and asking questions of the staff. He also seemed curious about the material of a scarf, pinching it with his right hand to feel how smooth it felt. Prior to the opening of the Expo, he appeared in an official video alongside other rikishi from Isegahama beya, making him the "face of the Kansai Expo." However, this was his first time seeing the various pavilions in person, and he seemed delighted throughout, exclaiming, "This is fun!" Inside Commons Hall D, he encountered something that seemed unidentifiable, asking, "Is this a drum? Or a chair? (or a plane? A bird?)" He tried hitting it with both hands, but ultimately said, "I don't know which it is." A typical rikishi with a large build and a smile, " a rikishi that embodies what a rikishi should looks like", he attracted crowds wherever he went,  politely shaking hands and posing for photos. When he spotted children, he took the initiative to pat their heads and hug them. It was quite clear why he was popular.. When he found a gate-like area between two lion figurines with their mouths wide open, he stood between them and struck a pose. It turned into a huge photo session with the general public.

Drum or chair?
