Jejima 1,427 Posted February 1 (edited) For more information - and an overview of this year's tournament, please click on this thread. It's February - so Sumo Forum's annual knockout tournament to discover the favourite sekitori of the year can begin! There are 70 sekitori, and so 58 will receive 'byes' to the first round proper, with the remaining 12 sekitori competing in a knock-out over the next two days, hoping to join them, to make the 64 for the 'Triacontakafinals'. To save time, I will put the 70 names into this random list generator... The first 58 on the random list will receive byes to the Triacontakafinals. The remaining 12 will enter the qualification round of the Tournament, which will start tomorrow. Edited February 1 by Jejima

Jejima 1,427 Posted February 1 (edited) There are some big names (in my opinion) among the remaining 12 that will have to battle in the qualification round, beginning tomorrow. The remaining 12, are as below (they will be put in the random wheel generator tomorrow - so their current position on the random list means nothing in regards to who they will be matched up against) - I think that there is the potential for some early spicy bouts! 59.
