Bugman Re-Hatched 26 Posted September 9, 2024 (edited) The roof hanging over the dohyo was the first thing that caught my eye for some reason, on my initial exposure to sumo. It was in the 1990s, when channel 4 in the UK would show highlights of Chiyonofuji and company, and my father and I would sit and watch without really knowing much, but enjoying the atmosphere. I remember looking at it, the exotic detail, the heavenly lights emanating downwards and a strange cosy, protective feel it gave to the clay floor underneath. There's no sport as mysterious as Sumo I feel, fascinating video! thanks a lot. Edited September 9, 2024 by Bugman Re-Hatched
