Kuroyama 715 Posted November 23, 2012 All a mawashi is, is a long strip of heavy cotton or canvas. (I assume you don't want to pay for silk.) You can see the dimensions on the sanpuku page. So the "pattern" is dead simple: about 6+ m long, and just shy of 1/2 meter wide. The trick is in knowing how to tie it on. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
