have been asked to take some official pics of the event next Sunday. Not able to go myself but have a pro-photographer set. Good but not native Japanese level speaker. Needs helper. Anyone? AAA.

If anyone knows a former rikishi in the EU for whatever reason (and still with a bit of girth) who you think might want to earn a few pounds in a commercial for a global brand, please mail me privately.

London based TV people have been in touch and while all options are still open, this may be one of the easiest logistically. Flights / hotels / interpreter taken care of.

Two visiting British academics looking for British nationals with experience in and around sumo.

They will be looking for an interview (undetermined length as of yet) and permission to use your comments / observations / experiences in a well known journal.

Thus far three names on the list but any lurkers out there on the list interested please make contact.

Visit should take place in late October or early November - in Tokyo (possible trip to Fukuoka if any lurkers there)
