Asojima 2,874 Posted September 11, 2011 I'm depressed. Jonidan, Sandanme and most of Makushita are overloaded with spiritless, cookie-cutter push me-pull yous. I keep looking for someone who stands out from the crowd as an up-and-comer. No luck so far. Aaaaargh!
Treblemaker 254 Posted September 11, 2011 Well, there's a chubby yobidashi in a blue shirt who looks like he really should to be ON the dohyo instead of sweeping absent-mindedly... On the other hand, the cream of those lower divisions has been catapaulted into the two top divisions. This is creating some very exciting matches up there. It's a wash. VictorDiVarca 6 Posted September 11, 2011 8 fusen today (so far) which is record ever for single day. Current record was 6 and had been "achieved" on five occasions, last time in November 2000 day 2.
Asojima 2,874 Posted September 11, 2011 Sde42 Musoketsu and Sdw42 Hokudozan are being shown on the NSK listing as no match with both listed with a record of 0 - 0. I assume that this was a double no show. I don't recall seeing this happen before.
