Cool Juryo on day 8

Many good quality juryo bouts took place today. Things started with a painful and odd face first slap down loss by Tomikaze. Hidenokuni dispatched Juzan running far along the hanamichi Kyokushuzan-style. Kotonomine continued with wonderful sukuinage against bulky Harunoyama. HAmanishiki's good form was evident again in his strong yorikiri win over Kitazakura after a little spicy shitatehineri attempt. Wakatoba ran over Dewanofuji who accelerated off the dohyo with record speed after a very strong oshidashi win by Wakatoba. Yusho candidates fought next where Tochisakae carried on his power sumo and while Haya tried low squat bouncing he was bulldozed out and dropped off the dohyo like he was dropped into deep well or something. He ignored Sakae's helping hand. Oginishiki and Gokenzan had a merry dance with Ogi trying all sorts of techniques before finally slamming down persistent giant. Very entertaining bout. Senshuyama dominated Aogiyama and Ushiomaru threw down Kobo whose body looks quite weak despite the power he has. Otsukasa did a very neat throw/yank against Wakakosho and Yotsukasa totally destroyed Asanowaka sending him into audience. Good juryo day.
