Guest Kaikitsune Posted June 29, 2002 Next week 4 sekitori celebrate their birthdays. Akinoshima once said he never celebrates a birthday and doesn`t find birthdays significant in any ways. I lack the essential personal information on these four rikishi`s attitude towards birthday but here are the birthdays with some unnecessary comments! Yubiquitoyama 4 Posted June 29, 2002 Antother notable birthday on Saturday the 6th is Musashifuji , the rikishi who took up the bow-taking ceremony (yumitorishiki) last basho, who turns 30. While I hope Musashigawa is right in that he will eventually make Makunouchi, I think Juryo is plenty enough as a goal. He is currently at Ms24east after a 5-2 basho in May, and hopefully the honour of doing the yumitorishiki can boost him beyond his current best of Makushita-7. 30 is a good age! Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted June 29, 2002 34 is a good age! Err, no! 34 sucks. ;-) Suddenly the world is full of people younger than yourself. Besides, statistically I'm already living the 55th percent of my life. (Huh?)
