Kintamayama 47,179 Posted September 22, 2003 The YDC convened today. It is worried about Musashimaru. Kitanoumi Rijicho arrived to tell them : "He is doing keiko, and will definitely participate in the Autumn Jungyo in October". YDC Chairman Ishibashi: "Musashimaru seems to be saying he will be participating in the Kyushu Basho. The course of action we may or may not take depends on what happens in Kyushu, and there is no need to mull over it now." Asked about Asashouryuu, he replied," At least he fulfilled his responsibility as Yokozuna!". Asked about the YDC's warning issued to Asa after last Basho that he would be invited to a private talk if his actions will continue to not be befitting a Yokozuna: "I feel there is absolutely no need for that. If anything, he should be praised." Regarding Asa's not talking to reporters: " He was just trying to concentrate (get his mind and soul together) on his bouts, no?
