If you're being charitable you could say most of those rules are to protect rikishi from the media storm but it does seem like he is saying that if the heya is gone then all the rikishi are gone too with no chance of transferring elsewhere. Imagine getting bullied by Hokuseiho and then you get punished for it, not a great look there.

I would surely bet its just a 'private label' wine, a wine that is non-exclusively sold under other labels as well. He is probably not allowed to sell it outside of Japan to be honest, not that a $40 Georgian wine would do well in the middle of Europe anyway. Kitanofuji 北の冨士 -> 北の富士 I thought that 冨→富 was a weird one but there seems to be a somewhat standard if not well known saying for this. If you have some wealth (冨 wealth) it will compound over time and finally bloom into a great estate (家　house) so they take the top of 家 and put it there 富 So going from 冨 to 富 means a maturation of something great, even if it is just the addition of the smallest mark. It makes me feel like current oyakata are lacking in their kanji lore :D

As an addendum to the above post I have never manually tabulated my score correctly so please take my judgement of other banzukes with a grain of salt

Not to divulge a nonsecret, but in interest of transparency you can just search google for 予想番付 and get back ample public predictions. I never look at them myself really, the one time I checked two of them and they would have gotten an mk score, that was a while ago.

When hakuho was around, I would suggest beating him was the easy part. You also had to not drop a single fight the first 12 days at least… 12 win yusho was rare.

'Just' pay makushita like 15% of Juryo. It used to be possible...
