or he would just stay in Makuuchi for 3-4-5 years and make a living. Retiring at the age of 30 is not the solution for everyone. ask Miyabiyama..... True, true. But at least he should drop down. I hope that Kakuruyu don't make it easy for him. So we'll drop from six Ozeki some basho ago to three next basho... maybe a more reasonable number?

If Hakuho wins again tomorrow (his 30th victory) I think that a winning strike of 40 is within easy reach, making him 2nd AND 5th in the ranking
-
I too don`t see Kotooshu losing tomorrow - and he *did* deserve to. To many 8-7, to many injuries. Time to Intai.

What`s up with Ikeru? He gets 2 Yusho and lots of basho out - injury or what?
-
And Osunaarashi gets his KK again (4-0 in day 7). Endo should get his soon, too. I believe that Juryo is *very* close to Osunaarashi

Sad sad news. Baruto is one of my favorites rikishi since I began to watch sumo some 3 years ago.

I think that Osunaarashi touched the ground first - but I'm his fan (Maybe some kind of "third-world complex") and it's ok to me =]

When in Rome... :-) Since I'm here (trying) to use my awful english nothing more natural than to use the english form of my Coutry's name :) (Cheers...)

Hi! I'm from Brazil and started with sumo because of Kaisei's success about 2 years ago and since them I`ve been following Juryo and Makuuchi since them (and Kaisei career in particular). :-)

A pity - I'm in Curitiba - that's 3,056 km from Recife :-|

Nagoya Basho 2012 - General Discussion Thread
bettega replied to Igordemorais's topic in Honbasho Talk
Hakuho seems cautious, somewhat (some minor lesion?). Baruto is my bet (and Kaisei for a 10 win basho) -
