I've just realized that Sandanme has only 90 ranks this basho instead of 100. Has this happened before? I always thought that only the last two divisions had a non-fixed number of ranks

As sport commentator in Spain, I fully understand it. When I commentate curling I know that there are some people watching the sport who are experts in the sport and there are probably a lot of newbies who surely don't know even the most basic rules, and you have to talk to both groups at the same time. I'm sure that it happens the same with sumo and I think they do a great job

I'm glad to announce the first and only sumo podcast in spanish ever. Agree. With only one spot behind Akiseyama and a better result (5-2 vs 4-3) Churanoumi normally would be promoted higher than Akiseyama. Sometimes is really difficult to understand Kyokai decisions. I must say that I though both were going to be promoted and Irodori demoted.

Hi everybody, I used Google Maps to create a map with all the sumo stables in Japan. I want to include more information in this map, but my main idea is to include a picture of the front door of the heya so anyone who can use this map could easily recognize it if he/she wants to go there. Unfortunately I didn't think about this when I was in Japan so I only took some pictures of Musashigawa, Kasugano, Izutsu, Dewanoumi, Oshima, Tatsunami and Tomozuna (with myself in the middle, sorry), so I would like to ask for free pictures of the main entrance of the rest of the heyas to include them in this map. If you have some of them and you don't mind to share them with me for this map, please tell me (privately if you want) the address where I can download it or send them to my email address. I have decided to retire for almost all the sumo games as I don't have enough free time as i would like for playing them and because mostly of the time making my picks is more an obligation than a pleasure, which is not what I want. So I want to present my intai papers for all the sumo games except Bench Sumo and Moti's GTB, my two favorite games which I want to continue playing. All the best to all the sumo gamers
