    Yasukuni shrine

I love that Shrine. Not controversial at all, but what the hell were you doing there?

    Sumo for Japanese

And whatever one can say about his sumo - and he is not sooooooo bad and I still have hope for him - he is one of the aesthetic appearances on the dohyo. An aspect that's not to be sneezed at ;-) But I guess this is totally (Just what doctor ordered...) now. no it was not that one

    Sumo for Japanese

We are talking sumo here, not basketball. The NBA is an all American affair, no European clubs. If Europeans want to do sumo, fine, have your own basho and your own competition, then you can have your short hair and wear your cyclist pants under your mawashi. The Japanese basho should remain Japanese IMHO. Recently there was a picture of one of the Europeans on this board, I don't know where the bugger was from but a worse milksop face you can't imagine. If that is the future of ozumo than I am watching soccer from now on. European clubs only of course.

    Sumo for Japanese

Personally I think there are way too many gaijin rikishi. I love Konishiki and the other Hawaiians, but all those Russians, Rumanians and what have you is not what I want to see. Are we to have a basho with only Europeans and Mongolians? Sumo is for Japanese.

Chiyotaikai is looking for a bride...

Oh Lord LOL I just read this just now (ok it takes more time than I have to read everything here) I guess Chiyo would never like me. I like my men submissive and under the table, waiting for a scrap of food, just where they belong , but I don't think Chiyo would fit under my table anyway. But he is a totally lovely guy, quite sexy so finding a woman who will train him the right way should not be a problem. Right Chiyomaru? (Sigh...)

    Hi! *waves from Holland*

Yes it does indeed! Dutch ladies unite! Soon we shall have a Sumo day strictly for women to rant, drool and dream LOL And all that in any order. Would it not be super? (I am not worthy...)

    Hi! *waves from Holland*

Thank you :-) Yes I am a devoted fan and since I loved everything Japanese and sumo since I was a child I can safely have the tattoo of Terao and Sakahoko on my arm. Hasta Siempre as they say LOL And I already found friends on this forum and lots of wonderful information I wanted. Thank you all :-) :-D

    Izutsu Oyakata

Well is there such a thing as good sushi? Oh I hope he is ok though. I mean to be on the receiving end of a rikishi falling on you is not nice *fearful look* I envy you for seeing him ;-) but the whole atmosphere must be so special. Nice to be there, but alas, HOlland is too far away and so is the money, I never know where the money goes anyway, so no me seeing the Oyakata. But wave at him for me LOL!

    Izutsu Oyakata

I think I saw him every day and some day even twice. They change the referees 6 times a day. Fay, If I could be so lucky! *sigh* And to Jonosuke, thank you so much for that explanation. Now I understand why I never see him. Like I explained Eurosport has VERY limited covering of the sumo (I am happy to see any at all though) and the camera is always in the same position, so indeed if he sits on the other side you will never see him. I just have to wait to get lucky again. I doubt if I will ever make it to Japan, but one can always hope :-)
