I absolutely adore your little "yes!" at the end of Tooyamas fight :-O

They've been updating the page all day, and warned that people might have some difficulties loading up and watching movies.

;-) So very wierd seeing Tamakasuga's name as the leader. Strange board overall, but the board is usually a bit strange this early on.
-
Thank you so much Fay. I'm stunned, I've managed to see both a not-sullen looking Roho AND a smiling Roho. What will be next? (or never mind, I just might get what I wish for (I am not worthy...) )

One of my other intrests in life except sumo is rally and formula-1. Now, the Dakar rally has just started and I wondered who else is watching or following the race?

You could probably ask for someone who thinks washing dishes and ironing shirts are a fun and very giving hobby ;-) As for the rugby, I don't know, I've never been given a good explaination to it's rules and therefor I avoid it. It's normally just frustrating to watch if you don't get what all the yelling is about. The only time I've ever seen a rugby match was when a friend of mine broke his thigh bone clean off in a tackle situation. He almost died but that's a whole different story. It sorta didn't turn me on to the sport (First prize...)

I found this on YouTube, but if anyone can write down a comprehensible list of all the ozumo-zekis shown... I will be impressed. Still, kind of amusing to watch. I will also send this one to an acquaintance of mine, my boyfriend's friends girlfriend, who the other day uttered the priceless comment: "I don't understand you watching sumo-wrestling, they are all fat, ugly and since all japanese look the same there is no telling them apart" ;-) We're still trying to figure out what he sees in her, she always makes comments like that. Maybe a candidate for Fujisan's thread on foot in mouth? (Nodding yes...)
-
(Nodding yes...) Ohh, I just laughed out loud when I saw it, I even woke my boyfriend up. He unfortunally didn't think it was the slightest bit funny. What on earth possessed them? Don't they have proof-readers? :)
-
No need to write them down - they're all in the directory where the pics are taken from. Still fun to watch. ;-) I meant as in watch and trying to catch every single one shown. But you're right, why do it the hard way when it's written down already? (Nodding yes...) He still shows them at a furious speed.

Happy birthday! (Neener, neener...) Everybody seems to have birthdays now (my mother, 5 close friends, bf, bf's sister and mother...)

A Danish cynical and wonderful comic, which is called Wulff Morgenthaler. If you are interested, check it out on... http://www.wulffmorgenthaler.com/

Yes, it's a one-liner kind of deal. And for the other comments... well, I still think it's funny, considering that sometimes sumowrestlers loose big time, things they should win. Shows us someting about not being too sure of ourselves.

Somehow the image didn't come with... http://bp0.blogger.com/_d6266Sdd6WE/RYL7LH...0-h/wm-sumo.gif I'll try the good ole' fashion way instead.

I've read LOTR and Bilbo, since I'm a member of the Tolkien Society in Stockholm (yes, I'm a nerd :-P ) I stayed away from Pratchett for the looongest period of time, since my high school teacher loved him, and I hated her :-) But they are really, really good, love the language. They work better in the original language, but the person who translate them into swedish is a genius. I've recently read Mercedes Lackey's books, they are light-weighters but good entertainment and with some interesting ideas about how to run countries ;) Among the ideas are one that if a woman is raped, she is treated as a divored spouse to the one who did it, they have to pay alimony for the rest of her life(or his own). And if there are any children born from the rape, they are also payed for, until they're concidered adults. There are about 7 serials of 3 books, 2 serials of 2 and 3-4 books that are stand-alones. Then I can recommend "Sofie's world", which is sorta a fantasy. Written by Norweigan Jostein Gaarder, it revolves around Sofie, an ordinary girl with lots of questions about the world she lives in. She recieves a letter in the mail, a very mysterious one, which sends her out on a journey in the meta-physical world! It is a children/youth book, but it's so good that it shouldn't stand in your way :) It gives you a much better idea about philosophy than you ever thought you would have (or thought you needed :-D )

I now have a tegata as background picture in my computer :) Thank you for putting them up and showing us all, I had a ball looking through them!

:-S I had to read that one a couple of times, and write a diagram, to get a grip on the situation! Complicated family connections seems to be a universal thing... (Clapping wildly...)

Thanks for the link! :) In some cases, it would be really interesting to get the story behind the kesho mawashi. So to speak, there was actually no pun intended. (I am not worthy...) Like why on earth has Akebono eggplants on one of his? Why is there two old men on Kashiwado's? If anybody has a good story to the shown kesho mawashi, please post it! (Laughing...)

Was that in the paper version? I tried looking it up on the internet page but couldn't find it (In a state of confusion...)
-
How old is his father then?
-
(In a state of confusion...) That would be very funny. And sad of course, but the irony of it all hits me first. "And then the haircut" "Ehh, sir, excuse me sir..." "Yes, soldier!" "Sir, I've spent alot of time and effort growing this hair, sir." "Yes, soldier?!" "Sir, it's part of a sport I participate in, sir" "Yes, and you run around in dipers as well as I understand it soldier! Scissors!!!!"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVisYVAKmmE This had me rolling on the floor. I don't understand that much japanese, but it's still immensely funny. WHY does japanese television have so many "let me make an ass of myself"-programs? Yes, of course it's a cultural thing, yada yada, but I'm cringing inside by watching things that I finds very, very impolite. And I'm Swedish! Is there something wrong with me? (Laughing...)

I was trying to be funny... though I've been chided for having an... not entirely gramatically correct shikona. chiisai= small, little, tiny since I'm kinda small. People seem to notice that about me and I've played off it for years and years. yama= mountain since it's often used in shikonas and I'm quite stubborn (Holiday feeling...) I also tried to get a pun into it, but I'm unsure about how to pluralise words in japanese.

(Showing respect...) Happy birthday indeed!
