Here is the Hakuho poll for 2013.

Please put your prediction in the comments below (exact numbers preferred), so we can see who was closest at the end of the year. Please also remember to add your guess at the 'Doitsuyama Bonus Question' - namely the most wins-in-a-row that Hakuho will be able to string together during 2013. He ended 2012 with 4 wins, so his first potential winning streak starts with possible win number 5 on day 1 of the January Basho.

I say....

3 Yushos

No Zensho Yushos

71-75 wins (I think 75)

Longest streak - the one that he is on at present..... ending at 17.

3 Yusho

2 zensho

82-83 wins.

He'll get a couple of zenso and will keep at 13 wins the rest of the year.

If he gets a zensho, he's longest streak will reasonably reach in the mid twenties, so lets call it 25.

2 Yusho, No zensho, and 71 - 75. The crest of the hill is behind him, but he will still pull off a string of 14,

Just under half of us think that Hakuho will end up with half of the year's yushos.

Just over half of us think that he'll manage one zensho-yusho.

Just over half of us think he will get 81-85 total wins over the year (which is an average of 13.5 wins per basho minimum.)

Hakuho won the four yushos for Mar, May, Jul and Sep in 2013.

He had zensho yushos in March and May.

He ended up with a total of 82 wins over the year!

His longest streak was 43 wins (starting with day 1 of the March basho).

Kotomikey easily wins the yusho for this poll.
