Hm, re-thinking it, I think you are right. Taikai is yet to face Asashoryu and Kotooshu...he can't get Asashoryu on senshuraku, that is Tochiazuma's privilege. Therefore he must meet Asashoryu on day 14 - and Kotooshu on senshuraku. So they can't wait to see if Kisenosato stays in the Yusho race...hm. If Kotooshu is supposed to become Ozeki, wouldn't it be reasonable to give him a higher ranked opponent?
