Oh man that is great...thanks for the link.
-
Oh didn't you hear, after not getting yusho he decided to stop his sumo career. ;-) I am not a fan of his, but do respect him alot, and if it was translated would love to read it.

Yes, that program is on TV Japan, here in the USA, too. It's called Nihongo de Asobou - Let's Play with Japanese(Language). Konishiki (or Koni-chan, as he's called on the show) is always that strange orange monster and sings with his ukelele sometimes, as well. ;-) They teach lots of old proverbs and such on that show. Very educational! And the kids are cute, too! He does seem like a loveable guy, doesn't he?(Eek...) Oh man if someone has a picture of him in the orange monster outfit, I would love to see it.

Naked...well that is strange...they just totally forget about the Muwashi ;-)

Jellyfish the size of sumo wrestler
Cammy replied to wanchanyama's topic in Japan-Japanese Discussions
Why wouldn't you want to dive with them? I just kinda stared at the picture of them in the net in awwww of how huge they were...and thinking to myself no way I would get near those. -
Really good photos, I like the first and third picture of Dejima...looks like he is sleeping. The Kitezakura pics are really cool. The Kotomitsuki picture looks like he is doing his impression of the thinker. Roho look Mafia...not at all...

Asashoryu...well I don't like, but I do have great respect for him, he is really good, but have never really liked him. Tochiazuma...I have always liked him, really happy that he got yusho, and happy to see a little more challenge for Asashoryu. Hakuho...I like him, not a huge fan, but I have started to like him more and more. But these three aren't really any of my favorites, I have always been a big Miyabiyama, Dejima, Toki, and Chiyotaikai fan.

Oh, go on... I'm not one of those evil, scary lecturers... (Laughing...) Sure your not Flying Monkey, that is what all of my professors tell me....and you know what they all lie!...jk Welcome to the forum. (Whistling...)
-
That would be really cool if someone did translate it (Whistling...) I really enjoy reading the Tamanoi blog, and would definataly read the Tochiazuma blog.
-
I agree that it was a good basho...because Asashouryu lost (Whistling...) But this basho sucked for me...because Toki isn't doing well :'-(
-
Tochiazuma: Yeah thats right I got Yusho (Yusho winner...) yeah I beat Asa (Whistling...) but you know what the biggest thing is...its my new blog...yeah thats right you all know you want to check it out...oh and here is a little peak at what is looks like...yeah I know it is hella badass (Laughing...)

Where are the good drinking pictures? You know what I am talking about, when you start burning stuff, breaking things, getting naked, you know things like that. Now granted I don't do those things...more of my friends...in the picture he actually looks more like me, lade back and very calm.
-
I really hate to hear this, why is it that one of my favorite rikishi is having these problems? (Yusho winner...) I hope that he gets better, and doesn't further injure himself.

Welcome to the forum, this is a great place to learn and talk about sumo. (Nodding yes...) (Shaking head...) (Hugging...) :-D
-
Well that is normally a good way to forget things.
-
He is just trying to keep him from going out of the dohyo, and how does he repay him...a swift kick to the privates.
-
Wasabi soft ice cream...that sounds terrible (Bow...) ...I guess that is why they asked them to hold the wasabi... (Laughing...)
-
It will be part one and two. here Some people have already talked about it.
-
(In jonokuchi...) I hope that he gets Yusho, that would be great...but I don't really know if it will happen...but I can hope.
-
Oh man those are some of the best pictures ever, I was laughing really hard when I saw the disco ball in the locker...then I see them in make up and swim suits. I needed a good laugh today...man that will make me laugh for like a week. The guys face in the last picture is great.

Given that he's only 5'8", I dare say that "getting up to 400 lbs" and "keeping his agility" is pretty much a contradiction in terms. Yeah I have to agree with Asashosakari being that big and keeping agility would be really hard to do. I am 5'7" and weigh like 230 I don't think there is anyway I could just add a hundred pounds, and still be able to move the same.
-
Thanks for letting me know that it is part one and two, since ESPN doesn't say that.
-
Try this site. It says he is 173 cm tall and weighs 150 kg. Thanks for the link. So he is 18 and is 330lbs...pretty big kid..but not really that tall.
-
Well lets hope that they will show it and not poker...since that is pretty much all they have on.
