  1. Thank you Ganzohnesushi
  2. Hello everybody What are the rules for an Ozeki promotion for the ISP ? With my 12-3 as the top player in the Banzuke last november, I believe It was good enough for an Ozeki promotion. But I'm still S1e for the Hatsu 2018 Banzuke In the past, I find that : - Jakusotsu was promote with 30 wins in the last 3 Bashos (Aki 2007 Jakusotsu K2W 11-4 - Kyushu 2007 Jakusotsu S1W 10-5 - Hatsu 2008 Jakusotsu S1E 9-6) and - Gusoyama was promote with 30 wins in the last 3 bashos too (Haru 2008 Gusoyama K2E 9-6 - Natsu 2008 Gusoyama K1E 10-5 - Nagoya 2008 Gusoyama S2W 11-4) and with 41 wins in the last 4 Bashos (Hatsu 2008 Gusoyama M1E 11-4) But it was 10 years ago My last 3 records : Nagoya 2017 Kaiomitsuki K4W 10-5 Aki 2017 Kaiomitsuki S2E 9-6 Kyushu 2017 Kaiomitsuki S1E 12-3 31 wins in the last 3 Bashos as a Komusubi or Sekiwake. Is it not good enough in 2017/2018 ? Thanks... Alex aka Kaiomitsuki
  3. Third Yusho for Terarno in 2017 in the Chain Gang! Congratulations.... Bien joué (How many players wins three times a Yusho in one game in a calendar Year ?) I ask the Tate-Gyoji a doping-test ... Terarno' prunes* are suspect (*I mean the fruit... from Agen of course... not what you think !!!!!)
  4. Hello Doitsuyama (Alexander) This link (Find a Rikishi) http://sumodb.sumogames.de/Rikishi.aspx When you choose "Intai in ?" You have two "2009 Haru" choice.... One at the good place, the other at the bottom of the list ;)
  5. I think It's Yoshibayama
  6. Thank you for this wonderful playlist ....
  7. Three Yokozunas out.... "Sumo is a simple game. 42 rikishis fighting on a dohyo. And at the end, the Mongolians always win." (Gary Lineker) ... Ok ... Are there still rikishis from Mongolia in the top of the Banzuke ?
  8. Are you sure ? http://www.dichne.com/Guess.htm Deadline for the Aki (September) 2017 Basho is Monday, August 21st , 2017 at 18:00 GMT.
  9. (I do not have the same translation with Google translate ) Kisenosato the new Sumo Superman, about his left ankle : "I will try to float like a butterfly and to sting like a bee for the next Aki Basho. But right now I'm not feeling Super "
  10. Not sure since... but Day 1 Natsu 1997 : Ozeki Takanonami and Ozeki Musashimaru (Ozeki Wakanohana was Kyujo) lose on Day 1
  11. Sorry that I don't find the time to make updates since many months now
  12. I just found out that one year ago someone had colorized a video that I put on my YouTube channel. Funny! ... and from my YouTube Channel
  13. Eurosport stopped broadcasting just when Nicolas Sarkozy became president in May 2007. Sarkozy hated the Sumo (for him the Sumo was synonymous with Jacques Chirac). As the "best friend" of the boss of TF1 (owner of Eurosport), a little phone call will probably be enough to withdraw this program very quickly. It was the same in May 2007, when the France-Japan Friendship Cup offered to each winner of a tournament in Tokyo, was canceled as soon as Sarkorzy came to the power (incredible to make such a decision so quickly ... as if there were no more urgent or important things to do before for your country !)
  14. As a french, I discovered Sumo in 1995 on the french TV (some videos on my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/SumoParis.... key words Sumo Paris Bercy 1995) when the NSK came in France for the Paris Bercy Jungyo (I still remember the Sumo posters on the Metro walls !) ... I chose to follow a favourite rikishi with a short Shikona and born the same year than me.... My choice was Kaio ! But It was really in 1998 (when Wakanohana became Yokozuna) with Eurosport that I really became fan.
  15. Gurowake... only 1.6 points after two bashos Where have you gone Gurowake ? A Sumo Games nation turns its lonely eyes to you.... (Whoo whoo whoo)
  16. Thanks !
  17. Félicitations Terarno
  18. "I didn't know that Kintamayama was from Nicaragua" (M. Pence)
  19. Hello everybody ;) something strange (or maybe It's not strange ?) on the participants list for the 4 games available on the Golynohana web site : 8 06.03.2017 00:57:07 Andrasoyamawaka2 Registered 9 06.03.2017 00:59:44 Arasan Registered 10 06.03.2017 01:00:43 Bolo Registered 11 06.03.2017 01:02:38 Emiroo Registered 12 06.03.2017 01:04:55 Barat Registered 5 Shikonas from Hungary recorded in 7 minutes. Is It the same player ? Don't you think that It's strange (or not, If you have an answer to this !) ? With five Shikona, It's easier to win !!!!?
  20. Hello If you want to buy some old Banzuke from the seventies/eighties.... You can find some on eBay http://www.ebay.fr/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=jinajina358&hash=item43fbe066a4%3Ag%3AVnIAAOSwdzVXv9LQ&item=291988596388&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xbanzuke.TRS0&_nkw=banzuke&_sacat=0
  21. Thanks everybody for your answers Have a nice year in all the Sumo games... Good luck !
  22. Hello Once again I find my new rank in the new Sumo game Banzuke very strange http://www.japanguide.info/sumo/banzuke.html I don't know who create this Banzuke but It's not the first time that I'm feeling that something It's not fair. For the last Kyushu basho, I was J1e, with a 12-3 record and the Yusho, but I only win 3 1/2 ranks What's is wrong with me or my shikona for the Banzuke maker ??? With a 12-3 record you should be somewhere in the M10 zone or better... but M14w !!!! M16e Ahogeyama with a 10-5 record is ranked higher than me ! I'm pretty sure that I should be ranked higher than him/her Same case for M13e Gaijingai with a 8-7 record... He is still higher than me !!! (and why Gaijingai is ranked higher than Ahogeyama in the new Banzuke ???) J3w Hidenoumi with the same 12-3 record is now just behind me in the new Banzuke ! Some Bashos ago, I remember that Asashosakari write a post where he finds something strange in the Sumo Game Banzuke (I don't find this old post !!)... and my Shikona was already involved in this problem. If someone can make/try something... thank you in advance (Feeling angry) Thanks ... Merci

  24. 1: 1-5 Gurowake 2: 6-10 Randomitsuki 3: 11-20 Sokkenaiyama 4: 21-40 Flohru 5: 41-80 Nantonoyama 6: 81-120 Wamahada 7: 121-200 Getayukata 8: 201+ Gawasukotto
  25. It seems more easy to be Yokozuna than Ozeki I remember winning 3 Yushos in the Roto in the same year (in 2012) with the first Yusho as a Maegashira 1 and I couldn't be Ozeki at the end of 2012
