Well, I've had not so few patients with cancer. And I really do not know how to put this the right way, but even though his sons feel the loss today (as do I) the final sleep is sometimes the best, and only, painkiller there is. Cancer is a horrible disease, and he put up a long and hard fight. He is now relieved of pain.

There is a theoretical possibility that Roho and his brother might be Moslems. This due to the fact that they origin from central asia, which is very much dominated by Islam. But since Ossetia is (still at least) a part of Russia, the probability is that they are Russian Orthodox. But take into consideration that Ossetia is practically next door to much disputed Tchechnya. The whole region is to be considerd equally mixed ethnically as unstable.

Well, I back at last. Where did I go? Well, I've been studying full time and working night at the hospital part time, I've started doing judo and jujutsu three times a week, and oh yeah managed the household and perhaps spend some time with the kids. So, I realized that something had to give. And that something was sumo (Depressed...) But now the term is ended, I got the grades that I wanted :-) and I'll get into university easy-peasy. This summer I will not work one day, just stay home with the kids. And... catch up on sumo :-D I guess there's a whole lot of new people here, so I'll be polite and introduce myself. It is a finnish expression meaning something like endurance, to stand your ground, to never give up, to be very patient under hard conditions. I have a little theory that naming your pets is a very international thing, i.e. that cats are named the same just about everywhere you go. The language may change, but the words mean the same. So, what name did you choose for your pet. (Please specify what kind of pet, too). I named our cat Spock, because I hoped that he this way would be as intelligent as the one who he got his name from. Unfortunately, the only thing with the slightest likeness between Spock and Spock are the pointy ears. My cat is like a fotomodel - beutiful to look at, kind to children, and completely daft.

As I remember Kotooshu said that he was deeply interested in sumo, many years before he moved to Japan. There must be more people like him? And would these deeply interested ones follow sumos way as good as a japanese one?
