Well, will the guy "do a Musoyama" then? (i.e. retire too late, be kadoban for the umpteenth time, making evryone forget his strong years) I shouldn't be bashful about it, I think it's high time for both the ozekis to quit.

So do I. Perhaps by then I'll have enough money to go there, and see the action!
-
Oohh, how deathy are you? (Sigh...) I prefer Vimes, partly because he is the only one who 's thoughts we ever see, and partly becouse he developes so much. And yeah, I agree a whole lot whith what Vimes say about the night, the human mind, and the mind of the night (having worked not so few nights myself). Anyone else here worked night with people? Seen the change it brings? Vimes is right. But I seem to be getting philosophical now...

Perhaps you should try one of the Ank-Morpork novels? You'll love Vimes.

If you do have the possibility, then try this for lunch (my absolute favourite). Go to Saluhallen (the market hall by Kungsportsplatsen). Then seek out Alexandras lunch resturant in there. For 30 SEK you'll get a big bowl of greek Faki-soup, bread and water (and do the garlic). Just sit there, eat, and watch the people. Entertainment and lunch all in one. You will most definetly be quite full afterward. But if you feel like it, you can get some fresh grapes or apples right by, as dessert. Mmmm (Sigh...) I can't wait to get there!

Hmmm, poor Taka. Sort of.

Wouldn't you love to see a couple of cameos from the rikishis?
-
Did they get to choose the numbers themselves?
-
A whole lot of psychology goes into this. Your Choice reflects you - or not. (Being unsure...)

These are just a little pick from Pratchetts vast production, so whats your pick - and why?

Britney Spears? Mmmmm, perhaps not. (NOT!!!) Isn Eric Idle a bit to old to be CMOT now? But Angelina Jolie, hmmm. Perhaps. But I see in Angua a constant fear, just under the skin. It's kind of pal with the rage that she carries at all times. Jolie has the looks for Angua, but does she have the ability to feel (play) fear/rage? In Vimes words "Angua has a stance as always poised to flight." (Not that she cannot fight...) For this to be the dream come true a couple of things must be done: 1. Jackson as a director 2. WETA does the tricks. 3. Not filmed in Hollywood. 4. No Orlando Bloom (not that he isn't a pretty boy) 5. Loads and loads of money in the project. 6. Plenty of time to do it, too. 7. No martial arts in the fighting! Not that we do not enjoy Bruce Lee, but when Vimes fight it's down and dirty, not a pretty kick in sight. I could sort of see Gary Oldman as Vetinari. If above said is done then I can agree with Jolie as Angua. Hmm, what about Matt Damon as Carrot? Sort of?

Did you go to Liseberg? What did you visit?

Is there any testing of any kind? is the subject open to disscussion at all? I've tried to look at their eyes and so, but have seen nothing there. Hmm, this rules out nothing of course. Am I a bit naive voting "less than 10%"? Could be, could be.
-
Oh come on people, you can't just vote and then shut your mouth? Why. prey, do you feel this way? (In a state of confusion...)
-
Weeell, it would be hard to take him seriously I think. I mean he's a great actor, but could you see his face without thinking of Basil or dead parrots? Steve Buscemi as Nobby perhaps? And who on earth would do Carrot? Or THE BIG question - who would do Vimes?
-
Hmmm, there you go. I wonder what qualities Takanohana oyakata saw in the kid? How do you, at all, see what a kid at 15 will be like at 20?
-
Do you mean to imply that it will happen very soon, i.e. a year or two? A wee bit optimistic perchance? But go ahead and vote "quite soon".
-
Alan Rickman, hmm, yeah I could do with that. Just imagine how AM would look in PJs eyes and hands. I really could see PJ doing a cameo as a wizard (Bye, bye...) like the pirate he did in LOTR:ROTK

Thank you! (I did miss y'all)

I do think that sumo would do good lifting the ban, but I do not think this will happen.
-
Well, what do you think? I think that perhaps it is time for him to step down now. I like his style, let him leave while we still remember that instead of horrible henkas.
-
I do hope the man has the sense to retire now while we still have fond memories of the man. I really like him, and I don't want him to end up like Musoyama (Bye, bye...)
-
I did vote Hakuho, the kid has a knack for sumo. He just needs some fire in his belly (ulcar, perhaps (Bye, bye...) until he takes the final step. Kisenosato could perhaps make it to ozeki, but I don't see him as a future yokozuna. Hmm, it's tricky. The new generation is coming, definetly.
-
I hope he's made it to ozeki by then. But, hmmm, the kid does seem to have lost some spark. Compare him to Asa. When you see Asa in the dohyo there's fire in his eyes. In Hakuhos eyes I'm not sure what I see. Boredom? He seems to be searching for something. (Perhaps he just needs a girlfriend (Bye, bye...) ). I hope he finds his "geist" again.
-
Must be six, because, as you said, who else is there. I've said it before, but Asa reminds me of Bubka (you know? pole vault champion?)
