Yup. It was clear from the beginning the Punishment was malious act of betrayal. It is simply incomprehensible for many mongolians. Difference in mentality is huge. In Mongolia, any personal merit is exalted and life-long guaranteed prestige (not necessarily wealth) , regardless to wrestler's personal failure, loss of achievement, bad behaviour. In Japan, yo have to work hard to keep that title. Japanese themselves started recruiting foreigners and now they fed up. But they don't say it directly, but stabbing from back all the time. In Mongolia, foreigners are not allowed to wrestle in state naadam, even fellow etnic mongolians from China or Russia is not allowed. Sorry for off topic :0 . I hope Asa will get over it and prepare himself mentally for upcoming challenges. Is he with his family? Does he have contact with his family in Mongolia? Does he have a right defend himself?. Now they have 2 Yoko and good time to kick unaware Asa who of course did his thing as usual. How is it morally. If you can not say- If the punishment he received is fair or not . Then you should not say -Asashoryu spit on the NSK and all the fans going to jungyo-. Be honest and just.

I am new member. Maybe I have little knowledge (frankly, it is only Asashoryu videos on Youtube) compare to you or any other old members. Does it supposed to make me to refrain from expressing my opinion which can be right or wrong. yes...."REAL MAN" definition is quite different in different cultures. Maybe, if they successfully nipponize him. But he does not look like remorseful at all. And he is not in the age (just 26) to be remorseful. He is just "bad boy", not a malicious guy who "dishonour national sport of Japan" or who insulted by cheating the Kyokai. to make Japanese Yokozuna in next 2 basho, is THAT what this punishment is really about? When Asa is out involuntarily , that is really not nice WAY (which is cleared by Kyokai) for Kotomitsuki to become Yokozuna.
