Zentoryu 154 Posted December 10, 2002 Besides giving us another peek in that mysterious area, it also treated us with gruesome sight of Akinoshima smiling (Akinoshima! smiling!) as he shook hands with Konishiki. This makes me jealous of what you guys get over there in Europe. :-) Here in the states all we have to rely on the bi-monthy one hour long basho recaps on ESPN, the national sports channel. They basically focus on a few select bouts from every day of the basho, and throw in a pretty poor anouncing job as well. I can only yearn for the type of coverage you guys get.(Sigh...) Each about... er... 45 minutes. A single four-hour VHS tape is said to be of just about the ideal length. I'm becoming more and more annoyed by the fact that I can't operate properly various TV apps. I know how to catch TV signal onto my hard drive but only uncompressed. Half an hour for about seven gigabytes. (Grr...)
