Zentoryu 154 Posted November 17, 2013 Disclaimer: I translate this information from the Nikkan Sports Webpage. It should not be considered official. Nikkan is known to make mistakes in their kensho counts from time to time, but they usually get around to correcting them. Also, Nikkan only posts the top 10 everyday, so I have no idea how many kensho someone not on that list has. After Day 8... Hakuho 101 ¥5,555,000 Harumafuji 61 ¥3,355,000 Goeido 42 ¥2,310,000 Kisenosato 27 ¥1,485,000 Kakuryu 20 ¥1,100,000 Aminishiki 17 ¥935,000 Myogiryu 11 ¥605,000 Endo 10 ¥550,000 Kotoshogiku 9 ¥495,000 Toyonoshima 8 ¥440,000 Apologies for the lateness of this, I've been working some crazy hours this past week. The usual suspects occupy the leaderboard along with the likes of Endo and Miyogiryu.
Zentoryu 154 Posted November 19, 2013 After Day 10... Hakuho 124 ¥6,820,000 Harumafuji 76 ¥4,180,000 Goeido 42 ¥2,310,000 Kisenosato 33 ¥1,815,000 Kakuryu 26 ¥1,430,000 Aminishiki 19 ¥1,045,000 Endo 14 ¥770,000 Myogiryu 13 ¥715,000 Toyonoshima 11 ¥605,000 Kotoshogiku 9 ¥495,000 The Yusho race appears to have come down to just the two Yokozuna, who remain undefeated after ten days of action. No one else is closer than two behind. I won't comment on who won kensho in individual bouts as Akinomaki has that covered in his thread. I'll just keep posting the overall top-10 when I get the chance.
Zentoryu 154 Posted November 22, 2013 Well, torquato and Akinomaki seem to have all the bases covered (and in much greater detail) so I leave the floor to them and close this thread. (Happy goodbyes...) (Kensho parade...)
