Guest Kaikitsune Posted July 28, 2002 Aikuchi ga ii Aikuchi ga warui From the glossary: aikuchi ga ii, rikishi's ability to often win a particular aite, compare with aikuchi ga warui, see nigate aikuchi ga warui, rikishi's continuous problem in winning a particular aite, compare with aikuchi ga ii, see nigate These opposite terms go together like match and a scratch surface of a matchbox. When aikuchi ga ii is present so is aikuchi ga warui. Examples: Kotonowaka dominates Tamakasuga in overwhelming manner. They have faced 16 times of which Kotonowaka has won 15. Knowing Kotonowaka's ability to have extremely bad days on the dohyo, this statistics is something quite astonishing. Kotonowaka has aikuchi ga ii against Tamakasuga who respectively has aikuchi ga warui against Kotonowaka! Simple eh? Other similar examples could be: Kyokushuzan-Toki (8-1): Toki finally got a win last time
