paolo 0 Posted January 22, 2009 Am I wrong or the "two hands down" rule has been silently abandoned ? Many bouts that I have watched have started with only three hands down (some of them two hands only... ). For instance in the latest two bouts Asashoryu only touched the ground with one hand while his opponent had two. It is true also that (as many people said) the bouts seemed to have properly started and the two be happy with it, but had they not said that the rule had to be strictly observed ?
