Meanwhile I've been asking some friends of mine (law students) about that matter. It really seems to be a difficult situation... nobody had a convincing solution for that. (Being ill...) On one hand you have the right to decide, if other people may use your picture for their purposes or not. On the other hand this is not a "private" picture of you, but a photo taken in a public event. You obviously wanted the press to photograph you there. So you gave "some kind of" permission. The question is: what permission was it exacly? For sure you gave permission to appear in press releases with your bum. (Going kyujo...) Of course, a commercial ad campaign is something very different. If McDonald's ("Eat at McDonald's to become a real big man!" :-P ) would put you on a poster without asking you, the case should be clear. But this special ad campaign was just for a public students award - so nothing "commercial". It's probably hard to distinguish between "press release" and "commercial ad campaign" in this special case. If you've already been in a couple of ads before, you will know better than me what to do... I personally would simply contact the society that started the campaign. Tell them it's you on the picture and ask them cautiously if they possibly are willing to 'cooperate' with you financially. (First prize...) I didn't see that, so it can't have been so 'clearly'. Of course it's not allowed and leads to disqualification. The following fouls result in the loss of a match due to disqualification: - striking the opponent with a closed fist - grabbing the opponent's hair - jabbing at the opponent's eyes or solar plexus - palm striking both of the opponent's ears at the same time - grabbing or pulling at the opponent's groin area - grabbing the opponent's throat - kicking at the opponent's chest or waist - bending back one or more of the opponent's fingers - attacking the opponent with a sword or a knife... or a shotgun

I don't know Futeno's comment page yet, but I guess you can't use [lMG]...[/lMG] there? Yes, Mattjila, that smiley was done out of 'wishful thinking'. (Lifting weights...) Just tried to make one for Blog-o, also known as Futeno: Together with Takanorappa's danpatsu emoticon we now have two smileys, that are not yet included in Sumoforum's clickable emoticons. My idea is that if we have about 5 more emoticons, we could ask Exil to upload these 5.

There are even two Yokozunas. But one of them is just a disgrace for that honorable rank. (Lifting weights...) BTW: Are there other sumo PC games like that (of course with more opponents and more kimarite)? :-) Maybe even downloadable ones?

My two Euro Cents: It's always the same with new sanyaku rikishi: They had an impressive result in last basho and everybody expects them to repeat that. But most of them have just taken the elevator, bringing them up to Komusubi and sending them back to M4 afterwards. I predict a 6-9 for , as usual.

When, what, how, who, why, where...? (A sekitori...) Do you know more about the accident? (Search function didn't work, as words like 'Toki' and 'car' are too short for it.)

The current avatar of nabudetoulouse leeds me to another 'semi-related' question: This pal has only 3 jagged ribbons hanging from his tsuna. :-/ I've seen this several times already... maybe this is the right place to ask: why not 5 (like most Yokozunas have)? (Annoyed...)

Not at all - you got them all right. (Roho...) The 1st "???" (that pimply guy) is Roho, the 2nd "???" is a nameless standard sekitori, the 3rd "???" was a failed try to paint Hakuho and the 4th "???" was indeed a first version of Baruto.

Just to make that clear (Oshidashi...): They both 'died' at about the same time after a veeery risky throwing technique. Now the other four guys have to decide who died first. ;-)

The proggy I used is called "Ulead GIF Animator". It puts the pictures you painted before (with any painting program) together to one small movie and saves it in GIF format. (Showing respect...)
