    scgroup.com/sumo site

Doitsuyama, many, many thanks for doing this. I've replaced my sumo page with a notice linking to Sumo Reference. Could one of the moderators please delete the Customized Sumo Results link from the forum header, and the SC Group section from the Essential Sumo Links page? (These will be even more confusing after the scgroup.com domain gets transferred.) Many thanks to all who visited.

    scgroup.com/sumo site

Many thanks for the feedback and hosting offers. My current feeling is that adding perhaps three pages (win/loss matrix; customized results; quick results search) to Doitsuyama's Sumo Reference site would be fairly simple and satisfy the majority of users. I would be glad to modify (or rewrite, if needed) the code for those pages to query the sumodb tables and to meet any other technical requirements for running on the sumodb site. If it is feasible to provide external read-only SQL access to the needed tables, I could debug most of the code on the existing scgroup server. Alternatively, if it is not too much of a performance hit, the scripts could pull data via HTTP. If this is of interest, please PM me to discuss details. Thanks, Stewart

    scgroup.com/sumo site

For the past 15 years, I've run a web site ( http://www.scgroup.com/sumo ) offering sumo results and statistics in English. I recently retired from business and will soon give up the scgroup.com domain name, so the site cannot continue at its present address. I believe that it has generally been obsoleted by better sumo sites and databases, so I'm inclined to simply shut the site down, shortly after this basho. However, since some members might still find the search, customized results and/or machine-readable statistics useful, I'd be glad to provide the HTML and perl code to anyone who is interested in taking it over. If needed, I'd provide some explanations, technical support and troubleshooting for a few basho. --Stewart
