    Asashoryu v. Goeido

I don't know if it was on purpose or unintentionally, but it might have to do with the fact, that Goeido is a gachinko rikishi... (Yucky...)

    Ozeki Back-Scratchers' Club

It's high time to dig out this topic as it could become a top issue tomorrow. (Being unsure...) Will Chiyotaikai win or not?

    Natsu 2009 Banzuke

In my opinion this Banzuke is not dynamic, it's very strange (mabe even ridiculous) We were told so, but nevertheless: Tochiozan as Komusubi instead of Homasho is illogical There has never been a Sekiwake with 5-10 who fell down to M5, absolutely needless to let Kisenosato drop that far. Kotoshogiku's rank is very dubious. A M2e with 6-9 falling down to M6 is extremely rare. (Especially compared to Wakanosato who only dropped 2 ranks...) I didn't find an eyplanation for Tamawashi's new rank and why he is ahead of Tokitenku (Showing respect...) Miyabiyama falling behind Futeno is not only a joke, it's a scandal. And Takamosakari being ranked 2 full ranks behind Futeno is also outrageous! Especially if we look at Dejima, who was almost 2 ranks behind Takamisakari and now is besides him... (Holiday feeling...) I can't remember any M1 that fell down 12!! ranks with a 2-13. Sure, his performance was very bad, but his slide must be a precedent. Tochinoshin staying ahead of Kakizoe is another farcial joke. (compared to Takamisakari/Futeno with identical records)

    Who gets the KW-slot

I always try to make a logical Banzuke, but the committee always comes up with some surprises/unlogical decisions. After reading that Tochiozan has been informed about his promotion and some online papers also "confirm" this, I have to ponder about changing my GTB entry (Eh?) Somehow I want to make a logical Banzuke (where Homasho has to be Komusubi), but there are good reasons for Tochiozan as it seems...

    Who gets the KW-slot

Kw will be Homasho and I think almost every experienced banzuke maker will agree (Sign of approval...)

    Seki-Quad daily commentary Hatsu 2009

Thanks for your appreciated daily comments (Whistling...) It's comforting that I also would have won without playing on senshuraku. But a win with an entry in the dark (without knowing the torikumi) is even better, especially as it was my only "FOUR" (Nodding yes...) I'm also very proud of this win and will do my best to be an exemplary Seki-Quad player in the future. It was only my 2nd full basho that I played Seki-Quad and I already thought that I'll never manage to achieve the double-digit-territory after I failed to do so in my previous career
