Wow that was really a fascinating show, very well done and unlike any other shows about sumo I've seen so far!! I can't believe the host got to spend so much time with Hakuho, who, by the way, showed personality and was much more interesting to watch and listen to than usually (Sign of approval...) Thank you very much for posting, that is was really great!

I think it looks FANTASTIC! The trailer was hilarious, I watched it a few times, and I can't wait to see the film. Wish I could find out if and when and where it opens in LA, will keep looking. Congratulations Kinta for being involved in something so freaking cool!!! (Holiday feeling...)

I'm liking Day 4. Ama steps up to give Kakuryu a shoulder blast long after the bout is over, Kotooshu falls out of the dohyo onto his a.. like a 3 year old, and Taikai gets manhandled by Goeido, only to crash out with the gyoji and pile up on the ground, barely missing Asa's lap. Great stuff.

Despite the fact you'll likely declare me to be crazy, I for one think Asa is going to yusho in Aki. AND IF ONLY THIS ONE TIME (PLEASE FORGIVE ME) : I TOLD YOU SO! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!! I am so happy right now, I just had to find this post and stick it up there again. And the amazing thing is, it happened for the reasons I thought it would happen, but that's another story...freaking amazing he won! I'm so excited ;-) (I am not worthy...) (Clapping wildly...)

I screamed, I honestly did. Watching Shotenro before the bout I was thinking about how I once read an interview with him, in which he stated it was his dream to face Hakuho, since they entered sumo at the same time but their paths had gone so differently. And I thought, good for him, today he's getting to realize his big dream, how nice. AND THEN HE TAKES DOWN HAKUHO! Unbelievable!!!! WOW!!!!!!

He was divorced in April and now has to dish out $2000 a month as alimony. "It can be perceived that Asashouryuu is having cash problems, hence the train ride", sums the article.. Is it just me or does $2000 per month seem like not that much? I mean for alimony AND child support of 2 children! I live in the U.S. and I know that what is paid here in child support and alimony isn't comparable to the rest of the world, but even my German uncle in the 1980s had to pay almost that much for alimony of his ex and child support for 1 child, and Lord knows he wasn't rich...so anyone out there who can shed some light on this?

I can play the bouts of the Nagoya basho up to day 11. But on days 12,13,14,15 none of the bouts will play on either Mac or PC, even tried downloading some component, but it didn't work. Any chance of fixing this on your end? Thanks so much!!
