Agreed! Also add to the list: First Ozeki to defeat two yokozunas in his kadoban basho, ever. (Since the modern ozeki kadoban system began.)

Despite his partial relapse on day 10, in which he allowed himself to rise too early, he was able to keep his unbroken streak. But today's win should finally make it clear to many how he has changed some fundamentals of his game. He has finally learned to control his height above the dohyo and that has cut off one of his worst weak points. More than that he shows a cooler head now. His fans, myself included, can finally celebrate! He has an excellent chance at a jun-yuusho, possibly more!

I don't think it is a fluke. Watching his bouts, he has corrected a key bad habit - that is of reacting to a tachai hit by rising early. He now keeps his knees bent at all times until he has done most of his "pull in". In addition, he has not relied on sideways movement. His match on day 8 when he seemed to do a henka doesn't count in my opinion because the bungled harite by his opponent left such a lopsided opportunity it was simply instinct for him to move to the side where his opponents arm was folded up and vulnerable. Finally, he clearly has been instructed to stop thinking about the over-the-shoulder reach to go for some kind of okuri position. That has caused him to lose too many matches, because by now all his opponents know that is a great opportunity for a yorikiri win. So, I think he's solved at least two terrible vulnerabilities that have hamstrung him until recently. If he can keep rigidly to his current discipline I don't see why he can't be expected to start scoring jun-yuushos or even the big one.
