Wait a minute...am i reading this correctly? In 2001 you were heavyweight? but then you went to lightweight, and in the middle you were middleweight? Edited February 22, 2007 by yamaneko
Sasanishiki Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Wait a minute...am i reading this correctly? In 2001 you were heavyweight? but then you went to lightweight, and in the middle you were middleweight? Yeah, read about it here Sorry about realeasing your identity Johnofuji, but everyone knows who you are anyway!!
Guest sumohoopster Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 It's not that I'm paranoid, it's just that I love sumo but my folks aren't proud of it...they don't want anything to do with it nor want me to do anything with it as far as competing...
yamaneko Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 Are you still a minor? If so, you could qualify to go to the world junior championships. Actually if you would have went last year, you would have automatically qualified if we sent a team since there was no junior lightweights. You should go this year. Tell your parents youll be an international superstar. :)
Guest sumohoopster Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That's my point, I can't compete while I'm living with them...other wise i would have come to the 2nd GA open and went to the US Nationals and possibly the World Junior Championship
yamaneko Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 Did you go to the GA Open last year? I was there...
Guest sumohoopster Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 No I wasn't able to go...i wish i could have but no i couldn't

Johnofuji Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 CH Rikishi Does the CH stand for CHocolate? or CHocoholic? That would mean that you are the one that took 65kgs of Swiss Chocolate (MMMMM thanks for sharing) to the Worlds in 2005 and the one who translated Sumo 101 into French for the poor bugger from Cameroon when we gave him a latenight hallway briefing on the finer points of tachi ai.We had to take pity on him as he took three days to get there and lost his other team mates on the way. They had also never put on a mawashi as they had to train in cut off jeans. Anyway welcome and good luck in your tournaments and hope to see you in November. PS Do the swiss competitors get to eat the cows they win after a schwingen (swiss sumo) tournament or do they just milk them?

PS Do the swiss competitors get to eat the cows they win after a schwingen (swiss sumo) tournament or do they just milk them? Hi Johnofuji, Yes, I'm the guy who seduced all the ladies in the staff room at Sakai with my constant supply of Extreeeeeeemly Good Swiss Chocolate. (Laughing...) and did midnight Sumo 101 for our african friend. Apparently he'll be in Lausanne this autumn (it's not so far for him, so maybe he'll get here a bit earlier this time.) Here we're starting to get the competition ready. I'm personally responsable for sound, light and first aid... plus giving a hand for decoration and translation. Glad to hear you will be coming. Do you know if you will be a big group from down under? got any ladies and/or juniors coming? Just one last point: the cows that you normally win in schwingen are BULLS! It has been known for the winner to keep it, (if he has a cattle farm for exemple) but usually they sell them back to the sponsor and put the cash in their nice little numbered swiss bank account... CH-rikishi
